One of the most exciting things about being involved in the Kingdom of God is the opportunity to serve out of our creative talents. Our God is a creative God and we at APC believe that his church should be a people full of creative worship and expression. If you have gifting in music, dance, acting, visual design, media, videography, photography, creative writing, or more we passionately want to see you utilizing your gift in the proclamation of the gospel and for the growth of God’s Kingdom in the hearts of people.
We are and have plans for hosting the following department platforms:
Worship Team
On Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings or at the next upcoming event you will see members of this ministry ministers through song. Musicians and singers collide to make beautiful music for the glory of God
Dance
Members of this ministry design and perform dynamic works of art using creative movement usually accompanied by music. You will see them performing on Sunday mornings or at special events. If you have a passion for dance this is the place for you!
Drama
Utilizing the combined force of script writing, storytelling and acting this team creates powerful productions that communicate the Kingdom of God. You will see this team performing anything from 5 minute skits to 2 hour dramatic productions.
Sound
Using high end audio equipment, this team works hard at finding the perfect audio mix for the various events and productions put on here at APC. If you have an ear for sound and a heart for engineering this is a good fit!
Visual Arts
From set design, to simple illustrations, this department strives to bring imagination to life through the use of pencils, brushes, Photoshop and other illustrative tools. Do you have a knack for graphic design/web design? Are good with colour and illustration? Let us know and we can help you find your place.
Media
The use of media in our culture is the #1 means of information communication. Under this department you will find Videography, Photography and Visual Display.
Videography
Using the power of film this team strives to create captivating and compelling material that will speaking of the power of God. Use your talent in various film projects or to capture film at various events.
Photography
Manipulating lens styles, ISO numbers and shutter speeds for the perfect shot. Does that make sense to you? Then you should sign up! Use your gift in themed photo shoots, event photography or other photo projects happening at APC.
Visual Display
This team uses the power of technology to display needed information during services and events. Be it song lyrics during worship, managing the slides during announcements/ messages or playing audio/video clips this team is responsible for creating the perfect visual atmosphere that will ignite the senses.
